Elmswell & Oakwell

Introduction

Welcome to Elmswell and Oakwell

We built Elmswell and Oakdale in partnership with the local authority and local commissioning groups to provide purpose-built accommodation that supports the Transforming Care Agenda, a project that aims to prevent and reduce hospital placements and support higher-risk people to live in the community.

Here, we support 10 people across the 2 homes with borderline personality disorders, emotionally unstable personality disorder, complex autism, and attachment disorders.

Inside each building, there are 5 self-contained apartments, each with its own front door, hallway, bedroom, bathroom, storage, living, and dining room. There’s also access to a shared living room, kitchen, dining room, and sensory garden to help develop social integration.
