Alderwood LLA Ltd. was founded in the year 2000 to cater for the needs of children and young adults who have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorders.  It's guiding principle has been to provide care and education as an integrated support system within a framework of a small 'family' type home.

Alderwood has expanded to include two residential schools, an adult residential home, outreach projects supporting individual children/young adults and a range of consultancy and training services.  Alderwood residential schools are DFES registered as independent special schools, catering for 5-6 children.  Alderwood homes are registered with CSCI and we gained Investor in People award in June 2004.

°To provide a highly structured teaching approach using the T.E.A.C.C.H. (Treatment and Education of Autistic and Communication handicapped CHildren) model for all aspects of the client's life.
